Scraping does not physically tear apart scar tissue or break up adhesions.

The Reality: The red or purple spots (petechiae) left after aggressive scraping represent broken capillary blood vessels—micro-trauma to the skin—not “toxins leaving the body.” Severe bruising is not required to achieve the therapeutic benefits of soft tissue work.
